The plot is as bonkers as it sounds: a rogue faction of U.S. operatives, convinced that undocumented immigrants are actually “secret saviors” (don’t ask for the logic, just roll with it), decide to “help” by abducting Mexican gang members and dropping them off in major American cities. The goal? Stir up chaos, trigger nativist hysteria, and rig elections by making everyone terrified of their neighbors. It’s a conspiracy theory on steroids.
Our entry into this madness is Melina (Marissa Arguijo), a tough-as-nails DEA agent who stumbles onto the plot after a routine bust goes sideways. She teams up with the cynical Detective Linquist (Nigel Vonas) and the by-the-book Detective Delgado (Oscar Alejandro) to unravel the web before the country literally burns. Meanwhile, there’s Shawn (Michael-Eoin Stanney) and Brett (Marcus Jean Pirae), the operatives with more firepower than sense, and Diego (Dominic Hernandez), a gang leader who’s less “scary” and more “confused why he’s been relocated to a suburb in Ohio without his consent.” The plot races, bullets fly, and the body count rises faster than the film’s heart rate.
