The film introduces us to Aruvi (played with staggering brilliance by Aditi Balan), a gentle, sweet-natured girl who grows up in a loving home but gradually finds herself suffocated by our ever-growing "eco-social-consumeristic" environment. She simply doesn't fit into the neat, plastic boxes society demands she occupy.
When life throws her a series of cruel, unimaginable curveballs, Aruvi is cast out by her family, including her father (Thirunavukkarasu), and left to navigate a predatory world. But instead of quietly fading into the background, Aruvi decides she has had absolutely enough. She takes it hard on the people who wronged her, orchestrating a bizarre, high-stakes hostage situation on a popular, sensationalist reality TV show hosted by Shobana (Lakshmi Gopalaswamy). What follows is a wild, televised reckoning where the lines between hostage-taker, victim, and villain blur in the most spectacular fashion.
