Scary Movie Review: Does the 2000 Parody Still Slap?

The setup is deliciously familiar: a tight-knit, highly recognizable group of high school teenagers find themselves stalked by a masked killer who looks suspiciously like the villain from Scream. Why are they being targeted? Because exactly one year ago, they accidentally ran over a man, dumped his body in a lake, and swore to take the secret to their graves.

Now, the clueless Cindy Campbell (Anna Faris) and her boyfriend Bobby Prinze (Jon Abrahams) must rally their equally distracted friends to survive. The target list includes the outspoken Brenda Meeks (Regina Hall), her weed-loving brother Shorty (Marlon Wayans), jock Greg Phillippe (Lochlyn Munro), narcissistic beauty queen Buffy Gilmore (Shannon Elizabeth), and Ray Wilkins (Shawn Wayans).
